Real Solutions between Israel and Palestine
I had a fascinating conversation about the politics of Israel , and developed upon a theory I spoke of when I first started writing my blog about why present peace proposals continue to get rejected, and a potential solution that speaks to the real issues that maintain the level of hostility between these two people. Needs of the Palestinian People During my years in Israel , I (posted by Scott 5 years 273 days ago.)

The Truth about Rising Gas Prices
Recent research, and response to a post of my own, has shown two clear camps: one that says collusion and price fixing are to blame for the hefty prices we're paying for gasoline today, and a second campt that says the rising gas prices are long overdue, and shoudl be expected. I set out to do some comprehensive research, and come to my own conclusion. The answer, I believe, lies somewhere in the middle of the two... (posted by Scott 5 years 285 days ago.)

United 93 – WOW!
I went to see United 93 today, and must say, WOW! While the story line was, of course, very depressing, the movie was really well done. It never broke down into wild speculation, spectacular special effects, or over dramatization. Instead, it compiles what we do know into a cohesive timeline of the events of September 11 th . First off, 75% of the movie did not take place on the airplane, but instead we were... (posted by Scott 5 years 288 days ago.)

A Blogger Making a Difference: Zeyad of Healing Iraq
In the Wall Street Journal today , I became acquainted with another hero of the Blogosphere: Zeyad . Zeyad is a blogging dentist from Iran , and he tells it like it is, perhaps giving one of the truest accounts of day-to-day life in Baghdad . Zeyad is a Sunni agnostic and author of the blog Healing Iraq , and has been writing, providing photos, and even occasional videos since October 2003. That’s... US Doesn’t See Dangers of Iran Overtures
I have a long standing theory that I have raised on my site before regarding some of the motivations of leaders around the Middle East . In a nutshell, many leaders in the arena have believed and do believe that, if they can muster the strength of the whole Muslim or Muslim affiliated world, they could either take the position of the second super-power vacated by the Soviet Union or they could even potentially... Boston Legal Rips Bush Administration
Did anyone watch Boston Legal last night? I’m not a huge fan, but I catch it now and again, and it’s good for a break from GMAT math. Well, I flipped on to it last night just as lawyer Alan Shore (James Spader) was about to go into his closing argument for the trial of a woman named Melissa Hughes, who decided not to pay her taxes because she was upset about our governm (posted by Scott 5 years 333 days ago.)
